Carolyn Riddle Armstrong and Sharlene Riddle Williams founded C&S Commercial Properties, Inc. in 1996 to carry on the legacy of their late father, J.P. Riddle, and their late mother, March Floyd Riddle. In a city and county whose population is primarily made up of active duty and retired military, Carolyn and Sharlene enjoy a unique status as lifelong Fayetteville natives. The sisters not only enjoy continuing to build their successful business, they also give their time and expertise by participating on numerous committees and boards with the local schools, charitable organizations and churches.
The company was founded not only to carry on the tradition of their father, who was one of North Carolina’s most successful developers, but to grow the company through the acquisition, development and management of retail, office and residential properties in the Carolinas.
The company has achieved professional licensing in North and South Carolina. In-house real estate services include: Accounting, Land Use Planning, Lease Administration, Marketing, Construction and Commercial Property Management.
C&S Commercial Properties manages Carolyn and Sharlene’s portfolio consisting of several shopping centers in Cumberland, Harnett, and Wake Counties. Their tenant list consists of national and regional tenants such as Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, The Fresh Market, Kirkland’s, Food Lion, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Panera Bread, Ross Dress for Less, Outback, Golden Corral, Chick-fil-A, Family Dollar, and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar to name a few. They also have several housing projects currently underway in Cumberland and Moore Counties.
